Hey folks, it’s the Supple Boiz, Ethan S. Parker and Griffin Sheridan here. We’re back to catch you up on all the latest developments in the ever-thrilling world of KLC PRESS! It has been an INSANE couple of weeks, which you may have noticed since we left you without an installment of CHAIN MAIL last Friday! We understand this may have been devastating, but we hope you all understand that the KLC team was swept up in NYCC-related madness! But more on that in a minute. First, let us catch you up, beginning with the biggest news of the week…
VANISH #2 HAS ARRIVED!
That’s right folks.
It may seem like it was only yesterday that we dropped the absolute bombshell that was VANISH #1 here on the Substack, particularly after we all watched it come together for nearly a year!
But this week, we’ve topped ourselves: YOU (yes, you) can read VANISH #2 RIGHT NOW! If you’re one of our wonderful paid subscribers, there is a shiny digital copy waiting with your name on it! All you have to do is click on the cover above, or right HERE!
We won’t spoil a THING for you here, but we will say there is much buzz about the opening of the story. This one is a game-changer, Chain Gang! We’re thrilled to finally share it with you.

NYCC WAS BANANAS (AND FULL OF KLC PRESS CREW)!
Hoooly Shit!
In many ways, we’re all still recovering from NYCC last weekend. In one way, I mean because your local Supple Boiz returned home with their very own potent cases of Covid-19. But in another way, I mean because it was an insane weekend absolutely chock-full of amazing experiences that have left us reeling (but that Covid thing was real, we don’t feel very good, please send prayers and DayQuil Severe)!
Not the least of which was DONNY CATES and RYAN STEGMAN posing with their own creation, OLIVER HARRISON (aka RYAN MICHAEL!)
Donny, Ryan, and the Supples had an incredible time not only representing KLC at the con, but also handing out gorgeous NYCC-exclusive Foil Variants of VANISH #1! You may have even caught us (Ethan and Griffin) performing some livestream auctions on Whatnot from the booths of various comics creators in Artist Alley!
It was a hectic few days, and we can not say enough thank-yous to the delightful members of the Chain Gang who came to pay us a visit! Pictured below with the KLC crew are Andy, Oscar, OldSkoolPlaya, Steve, Ryan, and the one and only Rod Reis! It was amazing hanging out with you all!
THE SCHLUB REVEALS CONTINUE!
There may not have been a CHAIN MAIL last week, but that doesn’t mean we want anyone to miss out on last week’s most exciting reveals!
SCHLUBFEST 2022 is still rolling, and after revealing plot details and the identity of the series’ mysterious co-writer (FOUND HERE), it was time to finally get a peek at some of Tyrell Cannon’s incredible artwork!

Here’s a mind-blower for you: We host a weekly art instructional series here on KLC Press where you can submit your questions on social media using the hashtag #STEGMANSPEAKS and have those questions answered on the show by the man himself! Sounds too good to be true? You’re probably right! And yet!
