We have slowly been revealing the full creative team behind KLC PRESS’ next blockbuster series… THE SCHLUB.
We know the series is being co-written by RYAN STEGMAN and KENNY PORTER, with pencils and inks by TYRELL CANNON, and letters and design by JOHN J. HILL. With so much talent in just that list alone, one has to wonder… who are they going to get to color this thing?! Well today, we are excited to announce the final member of THE SCHLUB’s creative team!
Joining Ryan, Kenny, Tyrell, and John is the incredible MIKE SPICER on colors. While Mike needs no introduction, here’s a small introduction:
Spicer is one of the best damn colorists working today.
‘Nuff said.
Mike has most recently been seen on some big projects over at Image/Skybound (Do A Power Bomb with friend of the ‘Stack Daniel Warren Johnson and Stillwater with sworn enemy of the ‘Stack Ch*p Zd*rsky) and DC Comics (DC Mech with our very own Kenny Porter)!
Spicer is excited to be working on a “unique project with such a creative team.”
And we are excited to share with you, those first five pages of art from THE SCHLUB #1 now in brilliant COLOR, thanks to Mr. Spicer. Feast your eyes!
With the creative team now fully revealed, we can’t wait to share even more of THE SCHLUB with you guys in 2023.
