PREPARE FOR NEW EPISODES WITH THIS PRIMER!
As announced in our plans for KLC PRESS: YEAR TWO, both STEG-MAN AND HIS AMAZING FRIENDS and SUPPLE BOIZ, two staples of the AMAZING FRIENDS PODCAST NETWORK, are BACK!
But for those who may be new here, we thought we would give you some background and highlight some of our favorite episodes!
Launched in June 2019, Steg-Man and His Amazing Friends marks the beginning of both Ryan’s obsession with being a beloved internet personality and his time working with Supple Boiz, Ethan S. Parker and Griffin Sheridan. The show features comics industry guests— though most often KLC Press’ own Donny Cates— coming on and chatting about a range of topics, from comics craft to the ongoing antics of one J*red L*to.
Here are some of our favorite episodes and links to listen:
#1: “VENOM BOIZ! w/Donny Cates: Venom #1 Director’s Commentary”
The episode that started it all! Donny and Ryan breakdown the pinnacle issue that started their partnership.

Launched in May 2020, Supple Boiz finds two budding comics writers, Ethan and Griffin, talking about anything and everything that they find creatively interesting or inspiring while charting their progress of breaking into the industry. Meanwhile, a sizzling b-plot continues to unfold in the background in increasingly deadly narrative shenanigans.
Here are some of our favorite episodes:
#1: “Like What You Like”
Learn all about the philosophy of the Supple Boiz in this inaugural episode!

#17: “Superman Rewind”
Ethan and Griffin love comics. But they especially love bonkers, off-the-wall shit from the early days of the Silver Age, like the issue of Superman featured in this very episode.

#20: “EPISODE 20: FALL OF THE SUPPLE BOIZ”
Yet again, Ethan and Griffin find themselves smack dab in the middle of a battle for the fate of reality itself… and the story doesn’t end there. Also featuring Ryan Stegman as The Supplesaurus, a talking brontosaur that dabbles in podcast management. This episode was so big when it dropped that it needed its own LORE RECAP and a Struzan-inspired poster from our friend Jon Eicher.
