Alright, people, let’s do this one last time…
We here at KLC Press have been having a great time in this first month of YEAR TWO on Substack and we hope you all have too!
We understand that there are still some questions about the subscription perks from YEAR ONE, however. So we’ll address those one more time here:
WHEN AM I GOING TO RECEIVE MY BOOKS?
VERY SOON! All of the subscriber books are at the printers as we speak! Once again, we greatly, GREATLY appreciate everyone’s patience on this. We sent out a survey a few weeks ago asking for shipping addresses. If there is concern that you did not receive this, please reach out via email!
WHAT AM I GETTING AGAIN?
Hey, it has been a while and there have been a handful of updates, so nobody blames you if it has been tricky to keep track. For the final list of what tiers get what books please see the list below:

[A VERY COOL SIDE NOTE: While we have had to make more changes to our offerings than we would have liked and it has taken us much longer to ship these books out than we anticipated, the value of the Year One has now become clear. The four Annual sub books now retail for just about $300, while the collection of nine books that GOAT subs will receive would now run you over $700! And that doesn’t even include all the content we released on the actual newsletter! What can we say? We like treating you guys.]
WILL MY BOOKS BE SIGNED?
We would like to get all your perks to you asap! And due to scheduling issues it’s going to be nearly impossible to get thousands of books signed and out to everyone in a reasonable amount of time. And we understand that may be disappointing to hear for some folks, so here’s our plan to take care of everyone.
We will be sending out an additional survey within the next week, asking you to choose between:
-Receiving your books ASAP, unsigned. Your books will get shipped out unsigned from our warehouse once they arrive from the printer!
OR
-Wait longer and receive signed books. We can ship out signed books, but those who choose this option will have to wait for the team’s schedules to allow for signing, and this may take upwards of an additional six months. (That may sound like a while, but remember, we’re talking about thousands of books that need to be moved back and forth across the country several times.)
If we do not hear from you via the upcoming survey, we will assume you are okay with the unsigned books. Likewise, everyone who goes with unsigned copies, please feel free to hit up Ryan and Donny at any live appearance, they will gladly sign any of your Substack perks free of charge if you’d like.
DO YEAR ONE MONTHLY SUBS STILL GET DIGITAL COPIES OF VANISH #1-3?
If you were a monthly subscriber during Year One- and are not still a monthly or annual subscriber here in Year Two- and would like to receive a digital copy of VANISH #1-3, we are happy to provide these as they are released!* Just reach out to us via email.
*number of digital copies received will be dependent on total number of months as a paid subscriber in Year One. I.E, did you sub for one month? You get issue 1! Two months? Here’s the first two issues. Three or more? There’s the first three issues of Vanish right in your inbox!
AND WHAT ABOUT YEAR TWO BOOKS?
Listen. This is an FAQ about YEAR ONE… but while we’re here…
Remember! There are no physical books attached to any of the subscription tiers this year. We’re keeping it simple in Year Two! Subscriptions get you digital comics, early access and deals on exclusive merch, exclusive announcements and sneak peeks, stream panel invites, and more! It’s pretty sweet and if you haven’t subscribed, we encourage you to join us!
And that just about does it! Once again, we appreciate everyone’s patience as we get this all figured out. Substack has provided comics creators with an unprecedented opportunity to explore a new way of creating stuff with and for fans, and like all new things, sometimes there is a bit of a learning curve. We are now closer than ever to providing these books to subscribers and we cannot wait for you guys to get your hands on them.
