Definitely bouncing back from NYCC and not still hungover
Hey there! It’s your parasocial obsessions the Supple Boiz, and we’re back for your weekly Friday recap!
Our resident PHD in Content, Ryan Stegman, started the week off on a weird note with one of his world-famous family tales. Something about his child showing an interest in parental murder and the resulting jail sentences that would hypothetically follow. Just a normal day in the Stegman Household! Don’t go up any dark alleys, Ryan.
Next up we did that thing again where we get on a livestream and talk for a million years while Ryan draws something dope and then we raffle it away! This is becoming a real staple around the KLC offices and we absolutely love seeing you all there (almost) every week! You can find this stream’s sketch below, the first of which to come from a little book called VANISH! Check out the full post to see an additional Batman sketch Ryan did, as well as to find out details about how you can enter to win a sketch from our next stream!
In our second MINI episode of Ryan & Donny’s Half-Assed Substack Podcast for this week (what is it about bite-size stuff that’s even more appealing than FULL-sized stuff?), Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman, comic creators at law, dive deep into their first-ever published comics work! They reflect on receiving their first credits and reflect on the work they did all those many hundreds of years ago.
Finally, we released a new FAQ post to address your burning curiosities about this fine establishment. FUN FACT: KLC Press comic books will eventually see print publication! Wow!
That’s about it for this time! See you next week for loads of NYCC content! Whoaaa! Buckle your “oh-my-god-this-is-the-best-Substack-ever” belts!
Another week of stellar KLC Press content has passed once again! If you missed any of the action, take a look at klcpress.substack.com and check out the past week’s newsletters to catch up! Let’s talk about things that happened previously:

Kids Love Chains. And we love you.
I'm too poor to afford to pay for a subscription. But I just want to thank you guys for what you are doing. I've read the Venom/KIB/Absolute Carnage arc 2 times now and I think it's fucking rad. I'm old as fuck and enjoy listening to the shows where Ryan is drawing while I'm at work and it's been something to look forward to each week. You guys are killin it. It's great to be able to get a glimpse at who is behind the amazing work you are doing. Hoping to win a sketch someday, but I never enter, so I doubt that shit will ever happen.haha But I'm a big fan of the product yall are putting out. Thanks!
