Morning friends, let’s not dilly-dally, there’s recapping to do
Hey there! It’s the original Thing One and Thing Two, the Supple Boiz, and we’re back for your weekly recap! Another week of great KLC Press content has passed once again! We kicked off the week with an update on the poll we ran last week, as well as plans for the future of the Substack! You guys voted to receive the stunning new Spawn-homage variant cover for VANISH #1 as a new subscription perk, so that will be rolling out soon! If you missed this update post or haven’t gotten to take a look at the new cover, you can find it HERE!
Next up was another invaluable tutorial from the legendary Ryan Stegman, as on Thursday we dropped a new edition of his art instructional video series STEGMAN SPEAKS! In this series, Stegman takes your art questions from social media, and drops educational videos that show his process as he answers those questions! In this tenth installment, Ryan takes a question from @YungGreezo on Twitter, and walks us through his process of foreshortening! Make sure to submit your art questions for Ryan on social media with the hashtag #STEGMANSPEAKS, and it’ll likely be the subject of an upcoming video! Give Ryan something to do, he has too few obligations and responsibilities.
Normally we wrap up the week with one of our famous LIVESTREAMS where you, the wonderful KLC Press community, join Ryan Stegman and the Supples onscreen to hang out while Stegman whips up a beautiful sketch which is then raffled off to one lucky subscriber, but unfortunately it wasn’t in the cards this week as Mr. Stegman couldn’t make it. HOWEVER, he continued to roll out great stuff over social media like the insane commission below. Let’s all thank Ryan for being the comic book world’s Santa Claus if Santa Claus was always bringing good art down the chimney, and also year-round.
