We kicked off the week with an update on KLC Press subscriber rewards, plus the reveal of a beautiful new Spawn homage variant for VANISH by Ryan Stegman! If you haven’t yet checked out the post, go give it a look right HERE, and make sure you take part in the vote at the end so that the higher-ups at KLC Press know what you wanna see happen in the future. We kept on chuggin’ with another wondrous tutorial from the world-renowned Ryan Stegman, as on Monday we dropped a new edition of his art instructional video series STEGMAN SPEAKS! In this series, Stegman takes your art questions from social media, and drops educational videos that show his process as he answers those questions! In this ninth installment, Ryan takes a question from Jan J. Ball, and walks us through his process of rendering lighting and shading! Make sure to submit your art questions for Ryan on social media with the hashtag #STEGMANSPEAKS, and it’ll likely be the subject of an upcoming video! Unless you have something else going on, but you’ll never be a world-famous comic book artist until you make it a priority.
Then we wrapped up the week with one of our famous LIVESTREAMS where you, the wonderful KLC Press community, join Ryan Stegman and the Supples onscreen to hang out while Stegman whips up a beautiful sketch which is then raffled off to one lucky subscriber! This time, Ryan illustrated an instant-classic THOR sketch while the Chain Gang chatted about everything from Wizards of Waverly Place to the newest Marvel thing everyone is upset about. It was a great time with some great folks. Check out the stream, the sketch, and its winner below!
