Hey there! It’s your devoted yes-men the Supple Boiz, and we’re back for your weekly recap! Another week of great KLC Press content has passed once again! If you missed any of the action, take a look at klcpress.com and check out the past week’s newsletters to catch up! Let’s look back at the week:
We kicked off the week with another brilliant tutorial from the illustrious Ryan Stegman, as on Monday we dropped a new edition of his art instructional video series STEGMAN SPEAKS! In this series, Stegman takes your art questions from social media, and drops educational videos that show his process as he answers those questions! In this sixth installment, Ryan takes another question from TheArtJedi on Twitter, and walks us through his methods of drawing hands and fingers! Make sure to submit your art questions for Ryan on social media with the hashtag #STEGMANSPEAKS, and it’ll likely be the subject of an upcoming video! No questions about hands though, we already did that and Ryan Stegman has no time to repeat himself. Feet would be fine.
Then we saw one of our famous LIVESTREAMS where you, the wonderful KLC Press community, join Ryan Stegman and the Supples onscreen to hang out while Stegman whips up a beautiful sketch which is then raffled off to one lucky subscriber! This time, Ryan illustrated an extra-spooky summertime Freddy Krueger sketch while the Chain Gang chatted about all things from Toy Story to Obi-Wan, but oddly a lot of it was about Toy Story. Check out the stream, the sketch, and its winner below!
Next week the July DIAMOND PREVIEWS catalog (for product hitting comic shops in September) will be released, and we’re on the cover! VANISH will be available to pre-order, and we’ll have all the details for you… all the ordering codes, cover art to drool over and options for getting your hands on them.
