We kicked off the week with a special presentation of a segment from Cates and Stegman’s podcast, STEG-MAN AND HIS AMAZING FRIENDS, in which Donny and Ryan craft a whole new time travel revenge saga from scratch! Well, not exactly from scratch, since they do have the greatest title of all time to build from… SAWED-OFF SHOGUN. This post is another great place to see how the pros do it, as the boys create characters and plot to build out a fun title into a fully-formed idea! We followed that up with some more sage advice from the infamous Ryan Stegman, as on Wednesday we dropped a new edition of his art instructional video series STEGMAN SPEAKS! In this series, Stegman takes your art questions from social media, and drops educational videos that show his process as he answers those questions! In this fifth installment, Ryan takes a question from @abcbrooks on Twitter, and walks us through his methods of rendering perspective and proportions! Make sure to submit your art questions for Ryan on social media with the hashtag #STEGMANSPEAKS, and it’ll likely be the subject of an upcoming video! We wrapped up the week with a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! It’s the one we’ve all been waiting for.
