Hey there! It’s your local living vampires the Supple Boiz, and we’re back for your weekly recap! Another week of great KLC Press content has passed once again! If you missed any of the action, take a look at klcpress.com and check out the past week’s newsletters to catch up! Let’s look back at the week:
This was a big podcast week, folks! We kicked things off with a brand-new mini episode of RYAN AND DONNY’S HALF-ASSED SUBSTACK PODCAST, in which Cates and Stegman discussed which niche comic book characters should get their own streaming series, like Peacemaker and Moon Knight recently have! There’s talk of J. Jonah Jameson, Throg, and Beta Ray Bill, yet curiously no mention of The Looter. Who’s The Looter, you ask? Shame on you. Look him up.
We followed that up with ANOTHER brand-new mini episode of RYAN AND DONNY’S HALF-ASSED SUBSTACK PODCAST, in which Cates and Stegman shared their LIVE REACTIONS to the final trailer for Morbius. As the world’s biggest Morbius (and particularly Jared Leto) fans, it’s safe to say they were pretty excited. Only one question remains: Are Donny and Ryan somewhere on the DVD extras for the movie? Also, why did the director spoil the movie’s post-credit scenes? I guess there are two remaining questions.
We finished off the week with one of our famous LIVESTREAMS where you, the wonderful KLC Press community, join Ryan Stegman and the Supples onscreen to hang out while Stegman whips up a beautiful sketch which is then raffled off to one lucky subscriber! This time, Ryan worked up an incredible MORBIUS sketch (as is only appropriate for Morbius Week). Check out the sketch and its winner below!
