It was Sonic Week! Every week is themed now. Gotta go fast! Or whatever Sonic says.
Hey there! It’s your local Sonic obsessives the Supple Boiz, and we’re back for your weekly recap! Another week of great KLC Press content has passed once again! If you missed any of the action, take a look at klcpress.com and check out the past week’s newsletters to catch up! Let’s look back at the week:
We kicked things off by dropping a brand-new PAID-EXCLUSIVE post where our wonderful premium subscribers got another peek into the world of VANISH! We can’t say too much here as it is one of our posts behind a paywall but hey. Don’t miss out on that shit. It’s good. And there’s so much more waiting for you if you haven’t yet jumped into one of those paid tiers! Here’s a little tease: This post was all about revealing two new characters: The TWINS. But they’re not just regular twins, they’ve got, like, magic powers. Can you imagine if they were just regular twins? Yuck.
We followed that up with another brand-new MINI episode of RYAN AND DONNY’S HALF-ASSED SUBSTACK PODCAST, in which Cates and Stegman discussed the comics creators on their bucket lists, the ones they haven’t collaborated with yet but they hope to in the future! There is mention of legends Frank Miller and Brian K. Vaughan, but… Oddly, no mention of your friendly neighborhood Supple Boiz. What is that about? Are they just playing hard to get? We’re available, boys. Let’s make some magic.
We finished off the week with one of our famous LIVESTREAMS where you, the wonderful KLC Press community, join Ryan Stegman and the Supples onscreen to hang out while Stegman whips up a beautiful sketch which is then raffled off to one lucky subscriber! This time, Ryan worked up an incredible SONIC THE HEDGEHOG sketch, and even though Griffin couldn’t be there for the stream he was really excited because he loves Sonic the Hedgehog, especially the movie. Anyway, check out the sketch and its winner below!
And let’s not forget about the KLC PRESS DISCORD! You guys have been asking for it forever, and it’s finally available for all you crazy kids right this very moment! If you enjoy hanging with the KLC community and chatting during the livestreams on Thursdays, this is the perfect way to keep the conversation going during the rest of the week! Pop by and say “hello” to John J. Hill and the Supples, and you never know when Cates, Stegman, or other special guests might stop by… and it’s all free to join in! Find all the action right here:
If you’re on iOS, then you’ll definitely want to snag a copy of the Substack app! Easier to navigate than your email inbox, plus check out all the other great comics creators on the platform in one easy spot. Go get it!
That’s about it! Thanks for joining us for another great week, and we’ll see you back here next week for more Substack time all the time.
But in the meantime…
