We kicked the week off by dropping a brand-new episode of RYAN AND DONNY’S HALF-ASSED SUBSTACK PODCAST, in which Donny, Ryan, and the Supples talked all things BATMAN. Sorta. Mostly this episode featured one of Donny’s legendary rants. Has Batman gotten too dark? That’s a question he aims to answer in the video. Personally I’ll submit this as evidence to the affirmative: DC has announced Chip Zdarsky as Batman’s new writer. I don’t think I’m stepping on any toes here when I say it doesn’t get much more “grim” than that. But speaking of…
Whoa, it’s podcast city out here! We followed that up with another brand-new MINI episode of RYAN AND DONNY’S HALF-ASSED SUBSTACK PODCAST, and kept the Batman frenzy going! In this one, the boys attempted to predict what will happen in the aforementioned Mr. Zdarsky’s upcoming Batman run. They saw prison and wieners in Batman’s future, and then shared when they found out that Chip would be taking over the series. Apparently it was one of the worst-kept secrets in the comic book industry. But speaking of poorly kept secrets…
The KLC Press DISCORD is a poorly kept secret, largely because we announced it last Friday! And on that Discord this Thursday, we had our very first KLC Press Discord COMMUNITY HANGOUT! We love hanging with you, the wonderful subscribers, during our mostly-weekly livestreams, but the Discord is a way to keep the conversation going all week long! This week the Supples jumped into the Voice Channel and hung out with several of the Chain Gang and had an excellent time, so thanks so much to everyone who joined us! We look forward to hanging out again whether it be through Discord, YouTube, MySpace, the Metaverse, the Ready Player One game, or at a real-life pizzeria.
