Hey there! It’s your village fools the Supple Boiz, and we’re back for your weekly recap! Another week of great KLC Press content has passed once again! If you missed any of the action, take a look at klcpress.com and check out the past week’s newsletters to catch up! Let’s look back at the week:

• We kicked off the week by dropping another special, abridged presentation of the third chapter in a series of past livestreams on Stegman’s YouTube channel, in which Ryan and Donny created a new superhero universe LIVE! The concept they created is called BAD KIDZ, and you may find that some bits and pieces from this creation also made their way into an upcoming little book called VANISH! This series of streams, presenting the entire comic book creation process from the very beginning, is a precursor to what we’re doing here at KLC Press, so we are delighted to bring you the highlights from how it all got started! This time, Donny and Ryan continued to build out their brand-new superhero team with a new super-HERO! The madmen have done it again! How do they do it? Could be talent or witchcraft. My money’s on witchcraft.

• We then dropped a beautiful post promoting our big February CHAINS-O-MANIA promotion! We won’t get too far into the nitty-gritty here in this recap, but essentially if you enter the race this month, you have the chance to get your KLC Press subscription UPGRADED to a higher tier! • Next up, we dropped a brand-new mini episode of RYAN AND DONNY’S HALF-ASSED SUBSTACK PODCAST, in which the fellas rank every single episode of the Disney+ original streaming series The Book of Boba Fett like the absolute Star Wars nerd degenerates they are. Let me tell you, this episode is full of these boys’ hot takes, and very cool and definitive rankings like you’d find on the YouTube channel WatchMojo. It’s extremely marketable internet content and I think that’s really exciting for all of us.

• We finished off the week with some love for the wider Substack community! We highlighted a recent post from a Mr. Brian Michael Bendis’ Substack (found HERE) that had some lovely things to say about collaborating with Donny on CROSSOVER, as well as a wonderful post from KLC Press’ pal Oscar Osorio (found HERE) that began an extensive breakdown of Cates’ universe of comics work! These are great pieces of writing by great people that deserve a great shoutout. And you’re great and the Supple Boiz are great and we should all feel great about ourselves in this moment.
