Hey there! It’s your hype men the Supple Boiz, and we’re back for your weekly recap! Another week of great KLC Press content has passed once again! If you missed any of the action, take a look at klcpress.com and check out the past week’s newsletters to catch up! Let’s look back at the week:

• The week began with COMICS DAY ON SUBSTACK! Monday was full of huge announcements, starting with the very first VANISH universe spinoff series! Called VANISH: THE GOLDEN WAR, the series is a prequel to the flagship, taking place way back in the Golden Age of superheroes during WWII! Our longtime friend Kenny Porter is on writing duties, and the wonderful Ryan Lee is on pencils, meaning… It’s gonna be a good comic book. Take a look at the designs we showed off on Monday if you need to be sold any further! You’re a skeptic, and I appreciate that, but glance at those designs and you’ll be first in line for V:TGW. That’s the Supple Boiz guarantee.

• Next up, we dropped a preview of the first issue of VANISH, featuring the FINALIZED first eight pages of the story! If you’re one of our wonderful paid subscribers, you may have seen these pages as the art process came together, but now… FEAST YOUR EYES. The first eight pages of the story are complete and available for all to see, with letters and eye-melting colors!!! The final product is absolutely mind-blowing, and we’re so excited for everyone to see what comes next. Those colors on that Everkeep splash tho? My god. My god.

• We then announced our big February CHAINS-O-MANIA promotion! We won’t break it all down here, but essentially if you enter the race this month, you have the chance to get your KLC Press subscription UPGRADED to a higher tier! And that’s not all! • Need more content?? FINE! We dropped another special, abridged presentation of the second chapter in a series of past livestreams on Stegman’s YouTube channel, in which Ryan and Donny created a new superhero universe LIVE! The concept they created is called BAD KIDZ, and you may find that some bits and pieces from this creation also made their way into an upcoming little book called VANISH! This series of streams, presenting the entire comic book creation process from the very beginning, is a precursor to what we’re doing here at KLC Press, so we are delighted to bring you the highlights from how it all got started! This time, Donny and Ryan create a brand-new superhero! Wow! Good job Donny! Atta boy, Ryan!

• The big announcement of a certain bloody bat wielding The Walking Dead baddie coming to CROSSOVER #12 (well, and #11!) along with creators Robert Kirkman, Phil Hester & the legendary Klaus Janson. Oh, and the regular KLC team as well… gonna be an issue to remember, so PRE-ORDER NOW!!! Final order cutoff is this Monday, February 7th!

• We finished off the week with one of our famous livestreams (which you can watch below), though things were a little different this time! Rather than hanging out with Ryan Stegman yet again (ugh), the Supples and subscribers hung out with Kenny Porter and Ryan Lee and talked VANISH: THE GOLDEN WAR! Kenny spilled the beans on his upcoming Flash movie tie-in comic, and Ryan sketched an awesome Battle Rocket LIVE and we raffled it off to a lucky subscriber! You’ll find the sketch and its winner below!
