After five whole months, that’s a wrap on KLC’s 2021
Hey there! It’s your champagne-guzzling menaces the Supple Boiz, and we’re back for your weekly recap! Another week of great KLC Press content has passed once again! If you missed any of the action, take a look at klcpress.com and check out the past week’s newsletters to catch up! Let’s look back at the week:
It was a podcast-heavy week! That’s right, this week saw the release of THREE brand-new installments of RYAN & DONNY’S HALF-ASSED SUBSTACK PODCAST! First up was an episode on the most embarrassing stories Donny and Ryan could conjure from their pre-comics pro days, back when they were slobbering fanboys just like us. Ryan talks about staring uncomfortably at a man for a very long time, Donny drops a brutal tale of humiliation in the presence of Garth Ennis. Make sure and check this one out today if you haven’t had your daily dose of cringing until you have a stroke.
Next up was an episode that looked ahead to the coming year, as Donny and Ryan broke down their list of most anticipated comic book movies coming in 2022! Obviously, there’s a lot of talk about the upcoming Jared Leto blockbuster smash-hit Morbius (which we can ALL agree holds the most anticipation), but also plenty of talk about Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) and others! Even we (the Supples) stop by for a second. And also I guess Ryan didn’t know there was an Aquaman movie? Even though it made a billion dollars? Jesus, Ryan. Stop working out for two seconds and experience the world around you.
Finally, we dropped a very timely HALF-ASSED NEW YEAR’S WRAP-UP, in which Donny and Ryan… Well, I’m gonna be frank, there’s a lot more Morbius talk in this one. I’m sorry, I don’t know how it happened, we didn’t plan for it. They talk for a while about a bizarre Morbius press event they went to, but THEN they get into the New Year’s shit. Y’know, reflecting on the first year KLC Press was birthed into existence, and looking ahead to all the greatness still to come. Resolutions are made, and the important info to know is that Donny, Ryan, John, and the Supple Boiz are very excited to continue to build this incredible community we’ve started. Hopefully we’ll all be partying together at a convention in the very near future.

CROSSOVER #11 FINAL ORDER CUTOFF
Speaking of CROSSOVER, issue #11’s final order cutoff is this Monday, January 3rd. So make sure and pre-order a copy at your local comic shop (or online retailer of choice) this weekend! Trust us, you’ll kick yourself if you miss this one (the last page is a KILLER!). There are two covers for this one, the regular cover by Geoff Shaw & Dee Cunniffe as well as the variant by Adam Gorham & Dee Cunniffe (Diamond has this incorrectly listed as Hickman, FYI). Plus two virgin covers as retailer incentives, if you’re into that… just ask your comic shop for more info.
That’s about it! Thanks for joining us for another great week, and thank you so much for your continued support and kindness. We here at KLC Press truly wish you a wonderful Happy New Year, and we’ll see you back here next week to start all over again.
But in the meantime…

So here we are, 20 weeks into 52 and I am not sure how to ask this, but for those of us that paid quite a bit for annual subscriptions that include physical books, is that going to happen or did we just pay more than the monthly people to get the same thing? Not trying to be rude, but Tynion has sent out one comic and Christmas cards in the same time for a lower annual price so I am curious as to the time line. Thanks. ⛓⛓⛓
Hey guys, I won a sketch a couple months ago. I've been trying to reach out through messages and emails to give you my address. I have no idea how to get a hold of anyone. Help!
