KLC Press Week 15 Recap!

The Gobble Boiz? Is that anything?

This year, we here at KLC Press are thankful for YOU, the subscribers. A.K.A. the titular Kids.

Hey there! It’s your seasonally-appropriate producers the Gobble Boiz, and we’re back for your weekly recap! Another week of great KLC Press content has passed once again! If you missed any of the action, take a look at klcpress.com and check out the past week’s newsletters to catch up! Let’s look back at the week:

• Did you say you wanted more VANISH?? Of course you did! On Monday we finally dropped Pages 22-30 of Issue #1, and everyone agreed it was incredible. If you’re one of our free subscribers, you’ll definitely want to jump into one of our paid tiers to experience ALL of the visuals for the first issue, now available! Page 24 is pretty brutal. I’d be sad if I had to miss out on that.

• Next up, Cates and Stegman dropped a brand-new MINI edition of RYAN & DONNY’S HALF-ASSED SUBSTACK PODCAST, in which they discuss all the pros and cons of being back in the swing of comic book conventions! Within are discussions of reuniting with friends, breaking wrists, dodging the COVID bullet but taking the bronchitis one, and much, much more. It’s a great time! But only if you like deeply entertaining bite-sized videos.

• All of this pales in comparison, however, to our Wednesday post. In it, we, the Gobble Boiz (Supple Boiz for most of the year) performed a presentation for the KLC Press higher-ups, proposing ideas for improving the KLC Substack. It’s difficult to say exactly how well the presentation was received (Donny and Ryan haven’t answered our texts since), but needless to say, I think we’re all pretty excited for the upcoming launch of the Supplestack.

• Finally, the KLC Press crew all gathered around the Thanksgiving dinner table, and expressed gratitude for 15 wonderful weeks of comics-making fun. Cousin Griffin burned the stuffing. Uncle Ryan said some controversial things. Cousin Griffin burned the turkey. It was fine.
