This week was all about muscles and rage! And we AIN’T JUST TALKING ABOUT RYAN STEGMAN!
Hey there! It’s your dearly beloved the Supple Boiz, and we’re back for your weekly Friday recap! Another week of dope KLC Press content has passed once again! If you missed any of the action, take a look at klcpress.com and check out the past week’s newsletters to catch up! Let’s look back at the week:
HULK WEEK kicked off with a mini episode of RYAN & DONNY’S HALF-ASSED SUBSTACK PODCAST, in which Donny broke down his first Hulk story that appeared in the Free Comic Book Day Avengers issue! Within, he talks about following Al Ewing’s run on the character, dropping red herrings about upcoming stories, and more! It’s a great time and quite illuminating. What? What’s that you say? This mini podcast wasn’t in-depth enough for you? You wanted more Hulk details? Well theeeeeeeeen…
You’re gonna love the interview we released on Tuesday! In his first full interview about his upcoming Hulk run, Donny sat down with the Supple Boiz at New York Comic Con and teased all the bloody insanity to come! He spills the beans on trading a Stegman for an Ottley, finding catharsis in making Hulk smash shit, who would win between the Hulk and Venom, and SO much more! If you’ve been waiting patiently for the juicy details about Donny’s take on the big green monster man, you’ll find them here. And we ain’t just talking about Ryan Stegman! Comedy comes in twos.
That’s a lot of Donny Cates-related Hulk content! What about Mr. Stegman? What’s he up to? Well, for one, he’s been drawing some BANANAS variant covers for Hulk, and we dropped a gallery of them on Thursday! Want ol’ Stegs to draw even more Hulk??? Weeeeeeell…
Too bad! We capped off the week with another of our patented livestreams in which we raffle off Stegman sketches to our loyal subscribers, and this week Ryan drew the famous muscular, raging character FRANKENSTEIN! The DC one, probably. No relation to HULK week. We also raffled off a few other quick sketches, The Flash and Slimer among them! Good stuff! Ryan is very talented and he knows it and it can be frustrating for us, the less talented people. We’ve got all the sketches and winners below, for your enjoyment!

Plug-o-Rama!
For your weekend pleasure, we’d like to spotlight a few projects you may be interested in checking out! First up is Darkest Night, from one of our fellow Substackers Molly Knox Ostertag. It’s a new graphic novel that will be serialized through their In The Telling newsletter… check it out HERE for more info!
And then next up is a crowdfunding campaign from Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner’s Paperfilms: Painkiller Jane: Heartbreaker! This action packed mature audience adventure is written by Jimmy, with fantastic art by Romina Moranelli and lettering & design by KLC Press’s own John J. Hill! Support creator owned publishing and grab a copy while you can, there are only 6 days left to get in on it. Go HERE for more info!
And that’s about it! Thanks for joining us for another great week and we’ll see you all on Monday for a non-themed week with regular ol’ content. Not to imply that it won’t be good, IT WILL BE!
But in the meantime…
