We hope you’re as pumped as we are for tomorrow’s big event with the one and only TODD McFARLANE! To get in the mood we wanted to show off some McFarlane-verse imagery not only from Todd’s side but Donny & Ryan as well! Let’s hand things off to KLC’s head honchos before we jump in:
Donny Cates: “Todd, and the revolutionary work that he has created in our field, is the only reason anyone knows who I am to this very day. And it’s not just because of Venom. My journey into comics began over thirty years ago as a sculptor trying to recreate the incredible McFarlane line of toys. It was mind blowing for me, having already devoured his Spider-Man and the subsequent Venom series that came from it, To then find SPAWN. And Spawn changed everything. Todd changed everything. And I cannot believe that that little kid gets to share a microphone with the man himself. This is going to be fun. This is what it’s all about.”
Ryan Stegman: "Todd McFarlane is the reason I draw comics. His Spawn and Spider-Man were my entry points into this world. When I saw his work I knew that drawing comics was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Luckily it's worked out so far."
