Oh shiiiiiiiiit 7 weeks of consecutive Substacking! Let’s keep it going!

Howdy! It’s your pals and celebrity crushes the Supple Boiz, and we’re back for your weekly Friday recap!

Another week of incredible KLC Press content has rocketed by! If you missed any of the action, take a look at klcpress.substack.com and check out the past week’s newsletters to catch up! Let’s reflect on the madness:

• We kicked the week off with a special FAQ post clarifying some details for you folks! The post goes into detail about the benefits of our various subscription tiers, time-sensitive incentives, and physical comic book release plans! If you’ve had any confusion since we launched about just what exactly you’re getting yourself into by joining the party, make sure to check out this post! We dare you not to want to jump into one of our paid subscription tiers with all the good shit that could be coming your way. Future additions to the FAQ include particulars of Ryan Stegman’s workout plan, the Supple Boiz’s moisturizing routine, etc.

• In an absolutely pants-shattering post this Monday, our paid subscribers finally got to feast their lucky eyeballs on the pencils for pages 8-13 of Issue #1 of VANISH! They’re mysterious and enigmatic and gorgeous and surely resulted in all kinds of hand-cramping for Master Stegman! There is MUCH discussion soon to come about the content of these incredible pages, so buckle up!

• Next up, Donny went solo in a somber farewell post commemorating the grand finale of his celebrated series BABYTEETH! Featured within were not only heartfelt goodbyes, but also personal details about the inspirations for the series and a very special song integral to its creation! Where were the jokes in this post?? What is this emotion I’m feeling?? I don’t like it.

• To cap things off, we did our SECOND subscriber giveaway stream that saw Ryan draw a beautiful sketch of a certain SPIDER-FELLOW, which was then raffled off to a lucky subscriber! Check out the sketch below! Wow, good job Ryan! You’re really getting there! The madman then did not one, not two, but FOUR rapid fire sketches that were also raffled off! And as if that weren’t ENOUGH, we ended the stream by giving away FIVE free one-month subscriptions to the KLC Press Substack! What a value! Plus Donny and Chip Zdarsky dropped by! Sorry for the Chip section, we’ll try to avoid that in the future. You can relive the magic of that stream right here on our Stegman and Friends YouTube channel! Spearheaded by KLC mastermind Donny Cates, Geoff Shaw on art with Dee Cunniffe’s colors, and rounding out the team I’m on letters & design. The new storyline began in this past Wednesday’s #8, available now at your local comic shop! Comes in two flavors… the Geoff Shaw standard cover and Megan Hutchison variant. So if you haven’t grabbed a copy, head out this weekend and show some support!

And then there’s CROSSOVER #9, coming out October 27 with a final order cutoff of this Monday! So while you’re at the shop, please tell your favorite comic-tender you want to pre-order a copy of the next issue (which has a Shaw standard cover, and Dan Panosian stepping in with an Ellie variant). Man, the last couple pages of that one’s going to get folks talking…
