T.G.I.F. am I right? Hahaha good stuff
Hey guys! Your friendly neighborhood Supple Boiz are here for your weekly Friday recap!
ANOTHER full week of KLC Press goodness has been and gone! We’re all toiling away in the KLC corporate office, working to make you all the most dope comics and comics-related content out there, with no rivals that we’re aware of! If you’re new around these parts, take a look at klcpress.substack.com and check out the past week’s newsletters to see the craziness that has been dropping! What’d you miss? A lot!
We dropped our very first post exclusively for PAID subscribers! You’re gonna wanna bust through that paywall, because not only does Mr. Ryan Stegman reveal some brand-new Vanish art here (pencils AND inks by the extraordinary JP Mayer), but also some concept art highlighting a newly-revealed character! A true treat for the eyes and brain.
Ryan’s vacation ended which is bad for him but good for US because it’s time he got back to the drawing desk to make more wonderful Substack content like the “man of the people” that he is.
We revealed even MORE mind-melting artwork on Tuesday in the form of beautiful variant covers for the impending Vanish #1 by some of the industry’s very best! Daniel Warren Johnson and Skottie Young have absolutely knocked it out of the park, and hey… Wanna know more about the spooky spider-legs man from DWJ’s cover? Maybe check out that paid post I mentioned a second ago, maybe give that a try!
And if you hadn’t had enough of Ryan’s antics for the week… He dove into his process a little yesterday! Stegs unpacked his horrific, crumbling bookshelf and revealed what instructional art books have helped him the most throughout his career!
YOU all continued to be the best by subscribing and showing your hype for all the sick comics coming your way through fanart and feedback!
Plus even more… Go check it all out!
GAMES R US!
One other quick news tidbit to cap off your week:
BOOM. Game Informer showed off their cover for issue #339, drawn by our very own Ryan Stegman (inked by JP Mayer)! Read about it on CBR, and we’ll take a closer look at how this all came together in the very near future.

KLC’S WEEKEND SOUNDTRACK
This week, Ryan recommends Sufjan Steven’s instrumental album Convocations for purposes of chilling out and also fueling your creative endeavors! Give it a listen and enjoy a reflective weekend!
In the meantime…
