This was quite the year for us here at KLC PRESS. In 2023, KLC Press published 13 jaw-shattering, mind-blowing, reality-bending comic books across 3 series, and we couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of them.
Let’s take a look back to celebrate this past year’s worth of insanity! ⛓️⛓️⛓️
IN 2023…
VANISH CAME TO IT’S THRILLING CONCLUSION!
The second arc of our premiere series, VANISH, debuted this year. RYAN STEGMAN, DONNY CATES, JP MAYER, SONIA O’BACK, and JOHN J. HILL brought readers further into the troubled mind of Oliver Harrison, the one-time-Chosen-One of a world of sorcery that has fallen into a revenge tour on those who tormented him and his friends in their battle-filled adolescence. But the terrible Baron Vanish loomed large over issues #5-8, leading to a blood-soaked finale.
As the first book released from KLC Press, it was surreal seeing this story arrive at its heartbreaking close.

THE SCHLUB AND KILL YOUR DARLINGS LAUNCHED!
Just a couple months after VANISH came to an end, we launched TWO brand-new series in back-to-back months with our friends at IMAGE COMICS!
First, THE SCHLUB #1 premiered in August. Co-Writers RYAN STEGMAN and KENNY PORTER teamed up with TYRELL CANNON, MIKE SPICER, and JOHN J. HILL to bring readers the colorful, yet darkly funny body-swap story of a scorned dentist, Roger Dalton, and the almighty superhero, Cirrus, in their battle against Wyrm and his forces of evil.
Then, KILL YOUR DARLINGS #1 hit shelves in September. ETHAN S. PARKER and GRIFFIN SHERIDAN made their comics debut alongside artist BOB QUINN, and (once again!) JOHN J. HILL. Issue #1 of this fantasy/horror epic introduced readers to Rose at the beginning of her journey against a Great and Terrible Evil. We were so thrilled when this incendiary first installment was rushed back to second printing within a week of release!
IN 2024…
THE THRILLING CLIMAX OF THE SCHLUB!
We are kicking off the new year with the explosive conclusion to the battle between Roger/Cirrus and Wyrm in THE SCHLUB #6, which hits shelves in just a few weeks on JANUARY 24th!
